Work 1 on 1 with Scott

In between clinics, we have days where we love to work 1 on 1 with you. Lessons are typically 1.5 hours in duration.

Scott offers private lessons and training for individuals or groups at our facility. He also has no problem traveling a reasonable distance to train with you and your horse if hauling is inconvenient, particularly in the winter months.

Sessions cost $60/hour + GST and we recommend a session length of 1.5 hours.

Need to stay at the ranch? You can have a room for only $50/night with a lesson package!

What do we do in our lessons? That's really up to you! Components of our entire clinic roster are options, and we also have clients working on everything from:

colt starting and re-starting horses
beginning riders
western and english riding
obstacle course and trail riding
liberty training
basic to advanced ground-work

Lessons at the Amazing Horse Country Ranch

Head to our beautiful ranch set in the heart of scenic David Thompson Country near Rocky Mountain House, AB.

We have a 100x200 outdoor arena, an 85x200 indoor arena, obstacles, a round pen and tons of trails. For your horse we have large comfortable pens and great water to drink.

Best Suggestion:

Plan on 1 or 2 days at our ranch. Stay overnight in our amazing accomodations, including guest rooms and a private cabin. Book 1 or 2 sessions each day to get the most out of your training experience.

Consider it a mini-vacation. You have access to miles of trails to enjoy - with your horse or just going for a hike. Our incredible view overlooks the forest. Watch the sunset from your private porch.

Lessons at Your Location

Have some friends? More than one horse to work with? We've got some ideas.

Scott can travel to your location for private lessons, too! We add mileage for off-site events. A great idea is to plan several sessions, or even buddy up with a friend and have Scott come for the day. That way the mileage cost is split over multiple sessions.

We recommend booking in advance and planning on a couple sessions a month.
